Frequently asked questions.

How do I make an appointment?

Its best to set up a consultation with the artist of your choosing. From there you can go over design and general pricing. The consult will end with you placing a non refundable deposit or information how to do so in the future. The deposit will come off of the end of your tattoo and secures your place in the artists book.

What happens if I miss my appointment or I need to reschedule?

We require people to reschedule their appointments within 48 hours of their appointment. If you fail to do so the deposit will be forfeit and you will be required to place another deposit for another appointment. No call no shows after 30 minutes of your scheduled appointment time will also render your deposit forfeit.

The best thing to do in these circumstances is to call us, life happens and we are willing to work with you to give you the best experience we can!

I’ve never been tattooed before, what can I expect?

Getting tattooed or pierced for the first time is always a nerve-racking process, and we are here to make it as comfortable as possible. We recommend that you eat and have plenty of sugar in your system before your appointment to avoid any issues that may arise. Many people compare getting tattooed to a constant cat scratch or a sun burn, and the painful spots all differ for everyone!

Are the materials used in my Tattoo vegan friendly?

We take everyone into consideration for the tattoo and piercing process. You can be assured that all of our products used in the process are vegan and harm free.

How old do I need to be to get tattooed or pierced?

You MUST be 18 in order to be tattooed in the state of Georgia. No exceptions.

For piercing you must be 12 in order to get non sensitive areas pierced. You will also need to have a guardian present. BOTH you and your guardian must have Government Issued Identification with BOTH matching last names and addresses. If you do not have paperwork stating you are the guardian we cannot perform the piercing.

What is the best way to take care of my tattoo or piercing?

Your tattoo will be wrapped in a bandage when you leave the shop. You must leave this bandage on for an hour, and no longer than 4 hours. We recommend using an unscented antibacterial soap like Dial Gold. You’ll start to wash your tattoo with warm water to open up your pores, and rinse with a cold water to close your pores after washing. For the first 4 days to a week, you’ll use a product like Aquaphor or A&D, though each artist will recommend their own preferred lotion. When your tattoo starts to peel you can switch to a regular unscented lotion.

For initial healing of your piercing, DO NOT TOUCH IT. Make sure to keep clean and void of makeup and other beauty products. Initially you can use a saline based product like H2Ocean spray. After healing use an antibacterial unscented soap such as Dial Gold to clean the piercing and jewelry, be sure to rinse the piercing/jewelry thoroughly after washing so no residue is left in the piercing or on the jewelry.

What do I do if I’m having issues healing my tattoo or piercing?

If you are having any issues whatsoever please call us or come directly into the shop. We can help you moving forward and guide you to getting back on track.

In extremely rare cases we will recommend you to visit your physician.
